Measure and control your electricity consumption circuit by circuit with the Zigbee SEM-4-1-00 meter

Mesurez et pilotez votre consommation électrique circuit par circuit avec le compteur Zigbee SEM-4-1-00

Your electrical installation consumes, produces, recharges — but remains a black box. The SEM-4-1-00 accurately measures each circuit and reports data in real-time to your Zigbee gateway.

The problem: invisible energy consumption

In most residential and commercial installations, it's impossible to know in real-time what each circuit consumes — heating, VMC, charging station, solar panels. Without precise measurement, optimization is impossible, and the energy bill remains opaque.

The NodOn Zigbee Smart Energy Meter solves this problem at the source, directly in your electrical panel, without equipment replacement.

The SEM-4-1-00: a precision meter for your electrical panel

Ultra-compact (46.8 × 17.8 × 21.3 mm), the meter installs directly in your electrical panel and accurately measures — with 1% precision — the consumption or production of an electrical circuit. It reports data in real-time to your Zigbee gateway or BMS.

📊
Comprehensive measurement
Current, voltage, active power, cumulative energy, and more — up to 63 A per circuit
🔄
Bi-directional measurement
Measures both consumption and injection into the grid — ideal for solar installations
🎯
±1% accuracy
Class 1.0 according to IEC 61557-12 — reliable data for controlling your automations
📐
Ultra-compact profile
The module integrates discreetly into any electrical panel
Key point: the meter is bi-directional and self-powered via the L and N wires of the measured circuit — no external power supply needed. It can be installed on any 110-240V AC circuit, from 50 mA to 63 A.

Installation: in the electrical panel

The SEM-4-1-00 installs directly in the panel, on the phase wire of the circuit to be monitored. It is self-powered via the L and N wires, with no additional wiring. Two installation diagrams are possible depending on your panel configuration:

Diagram A
Direct downstream circuit
The meter is installed downstream of the circuit breaker, directly on the circuit to be monitored. It measures the energy flowing in the direction of the arrow printed on the housing.
Diagram B
Production measurement
For solar installations or any energy source injecting into the grid, the meter measures production flows.
⚠️  Electrical safety: cut the power at the electrical panel before any intervention. Installation must be performed by a qualified person. Do not install downstream of a contactor, frequency converter, or motor starter.

3-step setup

1
Electrical installation
Cut the power at the panel. Install the SEM-4-1-00 on the phase wire to be measured, then connect the L and N wires: the meter powers itself. Restore power — the LED will glow steadily if everything is correct.
2
Inclusion in your Zigbee network
Activate inclusion mode on your Zigbee gateway (Home Assistant, Jeedom, Zigbee2MQTT, Homey…) or BMS. Briefly press the meter's pairing button until the LED flashes rapidly. Once inclusion is successful, the LED remains steady.
3
Monitoring and automations
The meter reports instantaneous power, cumulative energy, current, and voltage in real-time to your home automation interface. You can create dashboards, threshold overrun alerts, or automations based on measured consumption.

What you can monitor and automate

☀️  Monitoring of production and consumption in a photovoltaic installation 🏢  Distribution of energy costs by zone in a shared building (coworking, apartment building)
🚗  Intelligent control of electric vehicle charging based on grid availability 🔔  Alerts for consumption threshold overruns or abnormal equipment behavior

The product

The SEM-4-1-00 installs alone on any 1P+N circuit in your electrical panel and communicates directly with your Zigbee gateway or BMS.
