NodOn - HPE Aruba Networking: Strength in numbers

The fields of Smart Building and Smart Spaces are at the very heart of NodOn’s activities.

Precisely, to go even further in these two universes, NodOn has just joined the Technology Partner Programs from HPE Aruba Networking, with a view to offering solutions to make buildings hyperconnected simply, quickly, without work and at a lower cost.

Why HPE Aruba Networking?

Aruba is an IT equipment manufacturer that offers network solutions to businesses around the world.

The company does part of the Hewlett-Packard Enterprise group  for almost 10 years. Its products, including its famous  Wi-Fi hotspots, are used by many businesses and other organizations around the world.

The particularity of Aruba access points is that they are capable of managing IoT devices, such as NodOn's EnOcean products: wireless and battery-free sensors of all kinds (temperature, humidity, opening, etc.), but also actuators (access, air conditioning, lighting, HVAC, etc.).

Knowing that Aruba access points are already equipping hundreds of buildings to date, administrations, work spaces, public spaces, businesses... it is now extremely simple, fast and inexpensive to deploy NodOn sensors and actuators in these spaces making them connected, efficient and energy-saving.

 

Technical architecture

The solution is simple to implement: simply equip each Aruba access point already present in a building of an EnOcean dongle. From then on, all that remains is to deploy the desired NodOn sensors and actuators.

When it comes to processing data from sensors, intelligent management of actuators, complete building automation, etc., this solution is easily integrated into any pre-existing GTB and we also offer tailor-made BMS systems via our expert BMS partners.
