A showroom of technological innovations for vulnerable people
We recently participated in the inauguration of the showroom of PEP45 on Olivet.
Who are the PEP45?
The PEP (Pupils of Public Education) is an association founded in 1915 whose aim was to carry out solidarity actions for war orphans. Today, it is an association that works at many levels to carry out solidarity actions. They act in supporting autistic children in elementary education, in educational support at home and in hospital, in supporting specialized care, in Social and Professional support, in Inclusion in employment, etc.
But one unit that NodOn has been working with for a few years now is the Adapted Digital Support Platform.
Why this collaboration?
For the simple reason that the association has been using NodOn products for a long time now and that reliability is there. So much so that it is possible to put these products at the service of vulnerable people while being accessible.
What is the showroom?
The showroom is a room that represents a home (with its bedroom, kitchen, dining room, etc.) and which has all the technological innovations that can be implemented to make everyday life easier for vulnerable people. This room is largely over-equipped with hundreds of products from different brands that are all put in a situation to meet a very specific use.
Who is the showroom for?
It is a place for all people in fragile situations, associations or carers who wish to discover technological innovations in real situations and who are looking for professionals able to install them. Indeed, the PEP45 provide demonstrations and contacts for installers in the region to carry out the implementation.
And NodOn in all this?
NodOn contributed to this ambitious project by providing some equipment for demonstration in the showroom.
