Industrial Project Forum of Polytech: we were there, they won!
As a specialist of Smart Home devices, how can we not support the project of two students from Polytech Orléans who wanted to create a Home Automation gateway? A partnership quickly concluded with the students, whom impressed us by getting all the prizes!
Their project? Creating a multiprotocol Home Automation gateway (EnOcean, Z-Wave®, Bluetooth® and 433 MHz). During the forum, the students proposed live demo of NodOn products with their design Home Automation gateway, Wisebox. By creating a simply, user-friendly interface, and taking away all products/gateway compatibility problems, which can hold back people from using a Home Automation gateway, the Wisebox won the #1 prize of the Industrial Project Forum as well as the Innovation prize. Congratulations to this beautiful project!
NIU in the heart of EDHEC – Bouygues Telecom Challenge
We were at Bouygues Telecom headquarters to assist to the Bbox Miami Challenge final, and we were impressed! NIU was partner of the Challenge, which theme was to propose the integration of new products and services in Bbox Miami, by using IFTTT. Once again, students from EDHEC Lille and Nice have presented quality projects, using NIU as a physical shortcut to smartphone apps. The winner? Ma Coloc’, an app project to handle more easily colocation.
